Deactivated 1916 WW1 Webley mk6 .455 service revolver, cased for display:

Deactivated Webley mkVI .455 service revolver, 1916 dated with full matching numbers, cased for display:

Got to love the big calibre WW1 Webley mk6 - the classic WW1 British Officers sidearm, this ones a 1916 dated example, British army marked, condition is good throughout and its full matching numbers, however, the deactivater has chopped away a lot of the right hand side of the revolver - no idea why, maybe they were doing a cutaway example? The good news is that from the left side its perfect, so we mounted it in a display case with a couple of inerts and it looks spot on (latest deactivation specs so it doesn`t cock) correct certificate of deactivation.

Deactivated 1916 WW1 Webley mk6 .455 service revolver, matching numbers, cased for display on the good side:

Deactivated WW1 Smith and Wesson Orbea Hermanos .455 service revolver:

Deactivated WW1 Smith and Wesson mk3 Top Break .455 service revolver:

Now here`s a real rarity in WW1 British service revolvers - a Spanish Smith and Wesson (based on the Russian .44 design) made in Spain by Orbea Hermanos and chambered for .455. By the end of 1917 we still just needed more guns, so the British Army contracted 30,000 of these .455 Smith and Wessons to be made for them in Spain - known as "Spanish Webleys" and they saw service in the British army through 1918. This ones in good overall condition. Latest specs so it does not cock but it breaks open and chambers are clear so it comes with a full load of inert shells. Correct certificate of deactivation.

Deactivated Boer War Webley mk1/iv, .455:

Deactivated Webley mk1/iv .455 service revolver, Boer war/ WW1 regimentally marked:

Now you don`t see a lot of these early Webley .455`s - its either a mk1 or a mkIV (identical but for internal changes) but can`t quite figure it out as there is some surface pitting that makes reading the markings challenging. On the grip frame of the distinctive Crows Beak grips, you can see several British Army markings, one I am informed is an 1897 Boer War marking, the others will take some research. Rare clear chamber/bored clear barrel deactivation it breaks, cocks and dry fires, and comes with correct certificate of deactivation and 6 unstruck (ball bearing filled) rounds of inert ammo.

Deactivated Webley no.5 .455 "New Model Army" - just so rare:

Deactivated Webley No.5 .455 "New Model Army" circa 1885, great condition complete with priod holster:

Probably the rarest revolver we have ever had - a Webley no.5 (not to be confused with the later mk5) New Army Express in the big .455. Webleys first attempts at the familiar break open body were a bit of a falier, so in the mid 1880`s they released the no5 "New Army" revolver with a solid body and 5 and a quarter inch barrel, said to be the strongest, most reliable 6 shot revolver in the world - must have been reasonably true as most went to the Boers in South Africa to be shot at us.... they are just mega rare these days and this ones in good original condition and comes with a period leather holster (looks like an early Sam Brown Holster) and belt. Chamber reolves correctly and it cocks and dry fires, and correct EU/UK certificate of deactivation.

Deactivated Webley No5 New Model Army .455, 1885, periopd holster - you`ll probably never see another...:
