Russian Tokarev Pistol and Mosin Nagant Revolvers from WW1 and WW2:

Russian Tokarev Pistol:

Those Russians know a thing or two about developing weapons - wait until someone else has done a pretty good job then copy it - adding a bit of simplictity as they go - just what they did with the Tokarev TT30 - the Russian version of the Browning Hi-Power. Got to be honest, they did a pretty good job... And then there`s the Mosin Nagant revolver... developed well before WW1 these pistols are very well made by anyones standards, and the Russians developed a long cartridge with the bullet set in, so when you pull the trigger the chamber revolvers, moves forward to create a better seal then fires - very much a Russian thing!
