Remington Rolling Block rifle, 1870`s, 12mm obsolete with sling:

Here`s one you don`t see very often, an early 1870`s Remington Rolling Block in 12mm, looking at the markings and bayonet lug it looks like one of the Danish Military issue ones (commercial had no bayonet lug). These Remingtons were popular with many armed forces and found particular favour with Buffalo Hunters, as the breach was exceptionally strong and could take a huge powder load. This ones in very good order, all original, missing the cleaning rod and rgimental butt disk. Obsolete calibre so no licsence is required to own this rifle.

French 1822 Musket, percussion converted flintlock, obsolete calibre:

Super rare antique French model 1822 Musket:

Now we don`t see many of these, a French Army model 1822 flintlock (undated but between 1822 and 1830) thats been converted to percussion cap around 1840 (the lock plate still has all the flintlock mounting holes). Probably cut down from full size at the time of conversion, it sports its original stock, which has, like the musket, seen plenty of use and has some small armourers repairs. Cocks and dry fires and has its ramrod plus a French regimental marking on the butt plate, obsolete calibre so no license required.

East India Company Brown Bess flintlock musket:

East India Company Brown Bess:

Here`s a good original East India Company Brown Bess, there`s a date of 1831 on the butt its either that date or earlier if its an issue date, plus a nice royal proof stamp on the lock plate and you can just make out the makers namae of Thompson and some of the East India markings but they have mostly been polished out over the years (Brown Bess mechanisms are bright steel designed to be polished). The mechanism is nice and strong, the flash powder hole has been repaired at some point and the original wood has had a couple of repairs - the brass butt is also niclely regimentally marked as is the woodwork. Obsolete calibre so no licsence is required to own this rifle.

British Army Brown Bess Flintlock musket:

British Brown Bess three quarter inch flintlock musket, 1820`s, obsolete calibre:

Now heres a rare beast, an early British Army regulation issue Flintlock Musket in whopping three quarter inch calibre. The Brown Bess was classic flintlock used by the bristish against the French and was the mainstay of the Bristish army, with many examples being "upgraded" to the later Snider. This one is good condition with original woodwork with a couple of repairs to the butt - nothing bad and done in period, good metalwork with a little pitting to the lock plate as you would expect for the age. Lock works fine and you could put a black powder charge through it if on ticket for re-enactment. This one also comes with correct socket bayonet and repro sling. Obsolete calibre so no licsence is required to own this rifle.
