British Enfiled no4T and post war L42A1 7.62 conversion sniper rifles - the finest sniper rifle of WW2 - please check out the following examples:

Deactivated 1942 Lee Enfield No.4 Sniper Rifle, walnut stock:

Deactivated 1942 Lee Enfield No.4 Sniper Rifle, Savage made fitted with WW2 no32 mk3 scope:

Cool, this is a bit of an odd one, its a US made Savage no4, 1942 dated thats been fitted with a late WW2 no32 mk3 scope, the US never made a no4T so the rifle will have been made up by an armourer in period (the Germans did this all the time but not the allies - British and Commonwealth used No4t`s with no32 scopes and the US used Springfields fitted with a childs toy scope - really , they used a kids air rifle scope...) Side scope mount has a passing resemblence to a No32 mount, the side of the breach has been flat machined to take the mount and the scope would have come off a Canadian no4t as its made by REL (of note, the scope is missing an internal lense and the reticle (crosshairs) so is like looking down a tube). The rifle is fitted with several regular no4T parts such as cheeck rest and extra sling swivel ahead of the mag, strips, cocks and dry fires and comes with correct deactivation certificate.

Deactivated L42a1 British army 7.62 sniper rifle:

Deactivated British L42a1 Sniper Rifle - very real and very rare:

Original British army 7.62 L42a1 sniper rifle - as all correct L42a1`s this one started out as a 1944 dated no.4T .303 sniper, in the late 60`s early 70`s the British army only wanted 7.62 rifles, but no decent sniper could be sourced, so just over 1000 original WW2 no4T`s were converted to 7.62 nato with a heavy free floating target barrel, engineered breach and extractor and revised woodwork and meterised sites and no32 mk2 and mk3 scopes. This one is in excellent condition and has additinal ZA serial numbers marking it out as one of around 100 that went out to Zimbabwe/Rhodesia in the late 70`s. The rifle has full matching numbers but the scope is not matching - apparently when shipped to South Afica it was felt the chests weighed too much so they were ditched and the rifles got mixed up. Every stamp is correct and all parts are correct, Strips, cocks and dry fires and comes with correct EU/UK legal deactivation Certificate.

Deactivated Enfield Enforcer 7.62 Police Sniper Rifle:

Deactivated 7.62 Enfield Enforcer Police Sniper Rifle:

Another rare beauty here - a 7.62 Enfield Enforcer police sniper rifle. Around 760 of these were converted to 7.62 using the same techniques as the L42a1, but alas most were destroyed by the Police when no longer required, making them pretty darned rare! This one is number 148 and is in superb orginal condition, matching numbers as you would expect and the correct 19T on the breach and bolt (alas all of the WW2 no4T markings are removed in the rather comprehensive refurbishment process in 1973. Part of the bipod remains sticking out of the front stock and although fitted with a good scope it is not the original Pecer Berlin. Strips, cocks and dry fires and comes with correct UK deactivation certificate.
