Moorish early flintlock pistol - live obsolete calibre:


Obsolete calibre Moorish flintlock pistol:

Here`s a very early Moorish flintlock pistol - undated but the early Snaphance action (all the workings are mounted on the outside of the lockplate) would date it around 1775. Loads of silver inlay detailing coupled with some very good bone work and quite a wooden pommell - perfect for firing from the Camel! Condition is suprisingly good throughout and the action is excellent, obsolete calibre so no licsence is required to own this pistol.

No fancy designs or silver inlays with this one - though its fitted with a belt mount so it would more have been issued to sailors to shove in there belt in times of battle (no need for a holster, here, shove this in your belt and those Frenchies have it matey...), full working action, Obsolete calibre so no licsence is required to own this pistol.

Very high end Cavalry pistol made by British firm Hunter and Co, fitted with safty catch in the lockplate, would have been privatly purchased by a cavalry officer. British Sea Service flintlock belt pistol:

Here`s a great looking British Sea Service flintlock pistol, undated but would be from around 1790 looking at the details. This ones been restored at some point in its life, full working action though the barrel has been cut on the underside to make it safe - a shame as there`s no reason to do this, good news is it knocks a couple of thousand off the price! We`ve had the lockplate off to confirm its the real deal, which it is, though it has lost its belt hook. Obsolete calibre so no licsence is required to own this pistol.

We list details of our current stock by batch - due to our high turnover of the most popular models - so the images and descriptions fit that model, though there may be slight variations in stock grain/colour and metal condition - please bare in mind that some of the de-ac guns are almost 100 years old!


Deactivated Guns and the law:

Real-gun.com cannot sell deactivated guns to anyone under the age of 18. Though are not required to store this in a gun safe it is advised you store them in you dwelling, preferably in a locked cupboard. When transporting de-acs please keep them in out of site, preferably in a gun bag. Be sensible - don`t mount a .50 cal on the roof of your Jeep and take a drive - its fine on private land at shows but given the current climate please do not stress our Police any more than they currently are!
