Ok, not a Colt 1911 but alongside the semi suto Colt also made the big .45 Colt Service Revolver which was used in both Ww1 and WW2 by both British and US forces (and by Brad Pitts character in Fury). So popoular was it for its abilty to work in all conditions us Brits loved it and had a load made in .455 for British Army use, this is one of those pistols and is British Army marked. Condition is very good with some minor wear to the finish, latest spec so the chamber opens and is clear, rotates on the trigger but the hammer does not cock - comes with correct certificate of deactivation. A must for the serious collector.

Here`s a great looking un restored WW2 m1911a1 by Remington, the previous owner did a fine job of mounting it in an oak case with green felt backing and a couple of inerts so we`ve left it in there as its a shame to demount it - though if you buy it feel free to. Strips, cocks and dry fires and is certified to UK specification.

Superb 1944 Colt M1911a1, WW2 Military model with US Army markings:

Now this is rare, a WW2 M1911a1 by Remington which is marked with both "property of the united states" plus "US army issue" - never see the later but its on there and 100% period real deal - very nice. Condition is excellent with minor holster wear to the parkerised finish and original grips are spot on. This one is from 1943, military model, in great condition as can be seen, cocks and dry fires -an epic piece.

We list details of our current stock by batch - due to our high turnover of the most popular models - so the images and descriptions fit that model, though there may be slight variations in stock grain/colour and metal condition - please bare in mind that some of the de-ac guns are almost 100 years old!

Deactivated Guns and the law: cannot sell deactivated guns to anyone under the age of 18. Though are not required to store this in a gun safe it is advised you store them in you dwelling, preferably in a locked cupboard. When transporting de-acs please keep them in out of site, preferably in a gun bag. Be sensible - don`t mount a .50 cal on the roof of your Jeep and take a drive - its fine on private land at shows but given the current climate please do not stress our Police any more than they currently are!
