1816 dated Brown Bess Naval Carbine, 3/4" converted to percussion cap musket:

1816 Brown Bess naval carbine, percusion cap convertion, British East India Company:

Blimey, this would have been a handfull, an 1816 dated Brown Bess naval carbine with loads of original naval armoury markings on the original barrel. 3/4" calibre, its been converted to percussion cap at some point, though you can clearly see where the striker plate and spring would have been mounted externally on the lockplate. Its certainly seen some action, plenty of ware and tear as you would expect, full working action, obsolete calibre so no licsence is required to own this rifle.

British 1" calibre Tower Musket:

British 1" calibre Tower Musket... crikey...:

Sweet Jesus, words cannot describe how big the 1" bore of this British musket is, but its got the extra re-enforcement of octagonalling along most of its length and its a beast of a gun... More than likely it would have loaded grape shot rather than a solid ball and would have been a shortrange devastating blast, more than likely Naval as most things were at that point. Condition is good but there`s plenty of period repairs to the wood, likely caused by the shock of firing a huge powder load! Undated but would be from around 1830, Obsolete calibre so live but no license required.

British 1" bore Tower musket... or should we say Cannon!:

British 1785 dated East India Company pistol.:

Now here`s an oldie... dated 1785 would have started out life as a flintlock in .65" calibre, almost certainly a rifle, then converted to percussion and cut down to make a neat pistol. Condition is good with pleanty of ware, really good issue markings on the barrel, Obsolete calibre so live but no license required.

British East India Company 1810 Brown Bess percussion convertion :

British East India 1810 Brown Bess flintlock converted to percussion cap:

From the same collection as above, this is an early 1800`s East India Company Land Pattern Brown Bess, with its original flintlock lock which has been converted to percussion cap (the holes for the flintlock fittings are still there, dead giveaway). Its been refurbished at some point so we popped the lock off and checked inside, its all original in there, pic above. Condition is very good throughout though it has been re-numbered with a heavy hand. Obsolete calibre so no licsence is required to own this rifle.

British Brown Bess flintlock musket:

British "Brown Bess" Long Land Pattern Musket:

Just love this rifle - a full length British Brown Bess, woodworks dated 1808 but not sure if thats the rifle date or an issue date. Only thing is, somepoint in its life its lost its original barrel a repro barrel (very good, all stamped but not live) has been fitted which does rather effect the barrel (anyone out there with a spare real barrel???) Obsolete calibre so no licsence is required to own this rifle.

British Brown Bess long pattern musket, 1808 ish, replacement re-creation barrel (would be £2.5k + with its original barrel...):

British Enfield 3 band Tower musket - replica:

Replica British Enfield 3 band Tower Musket:

Blimey, had to look twice at this one - its got to be the highest quality replica musket we`ve seen (there are firms making live firing versions of these for re-enactors, this would have come from one of them). Woodwork is superb, metalwork excellent, stamps in the right place, complete with bayonet and scabbard, cocks and dry fires but with a solid breach.
