Deactivated British Bren Gun MK1, 2 and 3

Deactivated British Bren Gun MK1, 2 and 3

Bren MKI .303 Light Machine Gun by Enfield. From a batch of 1940ish dated and in very good condition. We have both standard mk1`s and dovetails (please enquire for Dovetails). These Brens are just awesome - so underated by so many - yes, they may lack some of the finesse of an MG34 but they were built to be used, dropped, kicked, rained on etc. - They were loved by the troops who used them as they rarely went wrong and withstood all conditions equally well. They were very accurate and because they could fire in semi auto, they were often used to pick off long range targets!

Bren Gun MK1 - big, heavy and just awesome!

Typically in the region of £700+ - check out the Bren Guns below...

Deactivated 1954 Bren mk3 by Enfield:

Deactivated 1954 Enfield Bren mk3:

Here`s a nice post war Bren mk3 by Enfield, condition is good and original, the mk3 was a lightweight version (if there is such a thing) of the bren with a shorter barrel, designed with jungle in mind, they came in very handy in Korea - then we seem to have mounted them to every piece of wheeled armour in the entire British army . Latest spec deactivation so the mag ejects, trigger and safty move and the cocking rod but the bolt is welded in place, comes with mag and correct certificate of deactivation.

Deactivated 1940 Enfield Bren mk1 with dovetail and Kings Crown:

Just really rare, a 1940 Bren mk1 by Enfield with dovetail intact and Kings Crown date marking, this is a very early Bren which is mega hard to come by as we left most of them in Northern France... This one has retained its hump stock, correct longer fluted stainless barrel end and adjustable bipod. Latest spec deactivation so the mag ejects, trigger and safty move and the cocking rod but the bolt is welded in place, comes with mag and correct certificate of deactivation.

WW2 Bren mk1 1942, matching numbers complete with its original chest:

Deactivated 1942 Inglis Bren mk1, matching numbers including the transit chest:

Another of a batch of three stunning WW2 Bren mk1`s thats matching numbers on all parts apart from the barrel plus as per the other examples, it has its matching numbers transport chest - thats just so rare, plus there are some regimental markings on the chest to be deciphered (some have been lightly painted over if you want to tackle lifting off the top layer). Metalwork finish is excellent as is the woodwork which also retains the mk1 hump rear stock. Latest spec deactivation so the mag ejects, trigger and safty move and the cocking rod moves under full spring pressure (which is a rare feature in itself) but the bolt is welded in place, comes with mag and correct certificate of deactivation.
