British WW2 Lanchester 1942 Mk1 complete with the ridiculous 50 round mag:
Ah, the Lanchester, much overlooked British WW2 sub machine gun, mots people think its a multi-barrel pre-war design, but its a single barreld (the confusion comes with the front facing cooling hools in the barrel jacket) design ripped from the German Bergman smg by the British Navy and Airforce, primarily for raiding parties and base defence in North Africa where every man needed to be armed and ready for action for real. The idea was for a super-reliable smg that would keep on going in the desert conditions and on ships.These are now really rare and this is a great 1942 dated mk1 with the rear adjustable sight and the super rare 50 round mag, the woodwork is great and very original, the metal finish is good and nobody has attempted to restore it with Halfords black - always good - plus the brass mag housing has not been polished, Latest EU/UK spec, trigger moves, mag ejects, breaks open but the bolt is welded in place.

Deactivated Guns and the law:
Real-gun.com cannot sell deactivated guns to anyone under the age of 18. Though are not required to store this in a gun safe it is advised you store them in you dwelling, preferably in a locked cupboard. When transporting de-acs please keep them in out of site, preferably in a gun bag. Be sensible - don`t mount a .50 cal on the roof of your Jeep and take a drive - its fine on private land at shows but given the current climate please do not stress our Police any more than they currently are!
